How to Spend a Weekend Watching Netflix

How+to+Spend+a+Weekend+Watching+Netflix

For some students, long weekends are spent with friends and family; for others, however, the extra time is spent watching Netflix.

Netflix has different genres like Action & Adventure, Children & Family, or Romance. It even gives options on what to watch next based on the shows or movies that the person watched before. There are a lot of good movies to spend a weekend watching depending on the viewer’s mood.

Without leaving the confines of the bedroom, Netflix can provide a standup comic feel in “Debra DiGiovanni: Single Awkward Female.” Any Jim Gaffigan show is equally hilarious and they don’t use as many curse words as DiGiovanni shows.

“Skyfall,” the latest James Bond movie, is a great movie to watch that keeps any viewer on the edge of his seat. There is plenty of action in this movie to keep anyone interested and it is perfect to escape the normal monotony of life.

In the oldie but goodie category, “Grease” is a fantastic movie that involves a romance between a greaser and a beautiful girl. Also “Footloose” is fun because it is about someone who defies a town rule that prohibits dancing.

A movie that allows reminiscing is “Mulan” which throws this generation back into childhood memories where Mulan pretends to be a man to stop her father from being drafted into the war.

For a TV show that is scary and creepy, “Pretty Little Liars” gets the job done. The show is about a group of teens who are trying to figure out the mystery of their friend’s death, while an unknown person is bullying them about their individual secrets.

“Cyberbully” focuses on the frightening topic of cyber-bullying. The main character has to deal with people bullying her, which allows many viewers to relate.

To get out of a bad mood, “Radio” warms the viewers hearts when a disabled man becomes friends with a man who helps his town see disabilities differently.

For about eight dollars a month, Netflix provides hours of entertainment to pass the extra time given in the long weekend because of Martin Luther King Jr.
