4. Fire Bowl

This meal is, you guessed it… fire! No, it’s literally spicy. But it’s also fire in the sense that it’s really tasty. Unfortunately, its peppery flavor throws me off just enough for it to rank relatively low on the list. However, don’t let my weak taste buds stop you from sinking your teeth into this meal.

As a culinary chameleon, shrimp is one of the most versatile foods out there. It can be dipped in sauce, fried with rice, or in this case, swimming amongst a bowl full of red cabbage, carrots and cucumber.

When I was a kid, my dad and I boiled an entire squid to serve his guests at a dinner party. I have fond memories of dropping the slimy, severed tentacles into the pot of water.
