Society of Saint Vincent De Paul Thrift Store ★★★★★

11015 Olive Boulevard Creve Coeur, MO 63141

Located just a few minutes from Ladue High School, Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is an excellent, low-key thrift store. This store is perfect for first-time thrifters because it doesn’t have overwhelming crowds. Saint Vincent de Paul sells a wide array of items, ranging from furniture to dishware to clothing.

Half of Half ★★★★★

14121 Manchester Road, Ballwin, MO 63011

Half of Half specializes in name-brand clothing. Thousands of new clothing items are added to the store every Wednesday at 10 a.m., so it’s always filled with unique pieces. Not only are the clothes name-brand, but they’re also inexpensive. As the name ‘Half of Half’ indicates, their pieces are sold for roughly 75% off retail prices.

Goodwill Outlet Center ★★★★☆

3728 Market Street, St. Louis, MO 63110

Commonly referred to as “the bins,” the Goodwill Outlet Center has a huge volume of items at very low prices, which are rotated twice a day. Most items are sold by the pound for $1.89. Though the bins are cheap, they’re not always the most sanitary. It is recommended to wear gloves when searching through the bins, because their items are not thoroughly inspected for cleanliness.

Avalon ★★★★☆

6392 Delmar Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63130

Avalon is a high-end thrift store. While Avalon only sells clothing and accessories, it offers a wide selection of styles. This store has many vintage pieces, making it slightly more expensive than other thrift stores.
