Senior Ira Rodrigues is the Copy Editor-in-Chief for Ladue Media and has been on staff for three years. She enjoys reading, watching old movies and playing board games with her family.

Social studies teacher Conner Katsev wears his medal, commemorating his achievement of winning the James Madison Fellowship Award. For Katsev, this medal represented everything he worked towards throughout his career. “Some advice would be, don’t get discouraged if you apply once and you don’t get [the fellowship],” Katsev said. “The [effort] to get [it] makes it that much more rewarding when you do get it.”

On Tuesday, Sept. 5, Ladue students gather in the Black Box to audition for the fall play, “Puffs.” Sophomore Joan Gaffigan was excited to audition for the play. “I think I’ve spent most of my time being less nervous and more excited, because I’ve done so many auditions by now that it’s just become a routine,” Gaffigan said.
