Pros and Cons of Stanley: The Stanley bottle keeps beverages hot or cold for prolonged periods of time, maintaining the ideal beverage temperature while on the go. The leak-proof lid and comfortable grip give users comfort and ease of use, while the variety of colorful colors and finishes adds style to your hydration gear. However, there are some downsides. Some people may find the Stanley bottle to be rather heavy, particularly when filled to maximum. Furthermore, the Stanley is priced at $35, yet serves the same purpose as a standard water bottle.
Pros and Cons of the Stanley Dupe: Besides simply the more affordable price, a lookalike Stanley off of Temu has many more benefits than one might expect. The lid is similar to the Stanley’s, but leaks less than a typical Stanley. It still has all of the insulation features of a Stanley – the only visual difference is the taped-on logo to the bottle. The most significant downside of the dupe is that it lacks a slide-on cover that prevents the bottle from spilling when tipped over, so it’s much more of a burden when knocked over. However, for being $20+ dollars less than a Stanley, a spill or two may be worth the trouble.
Pros and Cons of the Dior Lip Oil: The Dior Lip Oils provide lip care that softens and protects the lips, all within a cute packaging. Besides bringing out the color in one’s lips while also nourishing them, they are simply comfortable to use. They’re non-sticky or greasy, which is a problem that many people face when using other lip gloss brands. With the Dior Lip Oil, users can still have the gloss of a lip gloss that doesn’t immediately become a burden when there’s a bit of wind outside. Dior also offers many shades that can match with skin tone or basic color preference. The Dior Lip Oil was released in 2020 but gained popularity through social media such as Tiktok within the recent years, causing it to be sold out in several in-person stores. The main con of this product is the price. For a pretty small container, $40 is a lot. Many people don’t see this as an issue, but for the amount of dupes it has with similar qualities, $40 is pretty unreasonable for a product that is mainly known for its trendiness.
Pros and Cons of the Elf Glow Reviver Lip Oil: Similar to the Dior Lip Oil, the Reviver Lip Oil by Elf hydrates the lips and still provides the same shine of a lip gloss. However, unlike the online description for the product suggests, the Elf Reviver Lip Oil is significantly stickier than the Dior Lip Oil. Elf also has a lot of leakage issues which is annoying as it wastes product and gets messy. But when it comes to price, this lip oil is sold at $8 compared to its $40 counterpart. Besides that, Elf establishes their Glow Reviver Lip Oil as both vegan and cruelty free, while Dior has yet to provide that information, and allegedly tests on animals. So, when it comes to being affordable and environmentally conscious, Elf is the way to go.
Pros and Cons of Airpods: AirPods by Apple provide flawless wireless communication, making them easy to use. They have a stylish, minimalist style and come with a charging case for extra convenience. Users may simply handle music and calls with two easy touch controls. The sound quality is remarkable, with good audio for both music and phone conversations. Furthermore, their small size and long battery life make them perfect for on-the-go use. AirPods are relatively expensive — the cheapest priced at $99, compared to other wireless earbud options on the market. While the battery life is said to last 24 hours, it’s insufficient for extended listening time without access to a charger.
Pros and Cons of Airpod Dupes: AirPods dupes offer a budget-friendly alternatives to Apple’s AirPods, making wireless earbuds more accessible. Despite the lower price, many dupes, like the various wireless earbuds on Amazon, offer good sound quality and connectivity. Additionally, other brands of wireless earbuds, many of which come from Amazon stores like AVIWIS and Csasan have more color options, allowing better customer personalization. Some featured earbuds on the Amazon website offer three different silicon eartips to ensure customer comfort, which is something Apple hasn’t done. However, one of the biggest grievances I find with other wireless earbud brands is battery life. Though the customization makes up for it, a limit of 8 hours tends to die out fast, especially when used for school or at work. So as long as I have a charger with me, these $30 dupes on Amazon are well worth the downsides.
