Gabriella is a great student to have in class. She is regularly prepared and attentive during class and works well with her peers as a learner and collaborator. My introduction to Gabriella was as a writer. It was one of the first weeks of the semester and she shared a creative story she was working on with me. She didn’t just want me to read it, but welcomed me into a dialogue about writing and her writing process. I love when students are willing to share what they are passionate about and Gabriella’s enthusiasm toward both English and her her peers make her a valuable part of our Ladue community and a worthy Ram Pride recipient.

Jane has shown real courage and conviction in my Seminar this year. Every Seminar, when the pledge of allegiance is said over the public address speaker, Jane and I stand up together. Julien is sure to be a leader at Ladue in his three remaining years in our building and embodies what Ram Pride stands for.
Moss is one of the most generous, thoughtful, and kind students I have ever had the pleasure of teaching. No matter who is sitting next to them, Moss is ready to work together, help explain the material, and support and encourage their partners. I had a new student join my classroom and immediately Moss was happy to help them catch up, and did so in the most patient way possible. Moss is also willing to share their thoughts in class and take academic risks. They think deeply and are an excellent example of a student who loves learning. Moss shares this positive attitude with their peers. Moss advocates for their needs and the needs of others. They are reflective and honest with their feedback. I am very grateful that I had the opportunity to teach and learn from Moss this year. They are truly a wonderful human.

Jada’s relentless work ethic is evident as she tackles challenging problems with tenacity and resilience, consistently positioning herself for triumph. Her unwavering dedication to mastering mathematical concepts marks her as a standout scholar, and her achievements this year are a testament to her remarkable abilities. Congratulations, Jada, on your well-deserved success—I am incredibly proud of your accomplishments!
I am honored to nominate Kayla for the Ram Pride Award! Kayla is exceptionally bright and incredibly talented. I have really enjoyed working with her as she covered high school athletic events this year!
Grady is what I call a “professional” student. His attentiveness, maturity, and collegiality make him stand out. Grady shows an incredibly high level of responsible awareness, which allows class to run smoothly. At the same time, he makes others around him feel included. His intellectual curiosity is a model for other students and makes the classroom a true place of critical thought. Our class is very lucky to have him in it.
I’ve had the honor of coaching and teaching Trevor since his freshman year, and the growth he has shown in all facets of school has been a privilege to watch. This year in LEADS, Trevor has excelled because of his consistent approach and positive attitude. Whether it has been his participation in our LEADS academy or his dedication to off-season sports workouts, Trevor has displayed a steadfast attitude towards personal growth this year. I am proud of the progress that you have made, Trevor, and how you bring a welcoming and kind attitude to our school and team.
Katie has served as one of our very first student leaders in the new Knit & Crochet Club. She takes the initiative to start new group projects, attends every meeting that she can, and patiently sits beside newbies (including me) to help teach new stitches and techniques. She’s willing to try new things and takes the lead in our community service projects. We will miss her next year!
I see Sage blossoming this semester. Sage is typically quite in class but will stay after class frequently to share personal experiences that relate to what we have been learning in class. Sage is very sweet and I have really enjoyed having them in class.
Jacob Winbush is charismatic and outgoing – and genuinely one of the most kind human beings that I have ever known. His smile is infectious, and he cares for all of his friends and classmates across various social circles, teams, and classes. He continually brings a positive attitude to the spaces he enters. Jacob is beloved by staff and will be greatly missed when he is gone. I am so lucky to have been able to teach Jacob. I have learned so much that I can’t name all the ways he has changed my life for the better. I have finally become a fan of football, and can now watch a game with an understanding that I never thought possible for me. He is a natural leader and has the potential to do amazing things in whatever career path he chooses. Don’t ever doubt that you are amazing Jacob Winbush!
Michael is a trusted and respected student among his peers. He is a strong leader and good listener. His empathy and genuine concern for the members in our school community does not go unnoticed. I admire the way he sees a need and takes action to be a support or find a solution. Michael makes our Ladue community a better place.
Andy is a fantastic student in the Spanish class. He is a very diligent student whose dedication and willingness to assist peers shine brightly in the classroom. He is respectful and responsible and he exemplifies the qualities of a supportive and reliable classmate, contributing positively to our learning environment. Congratulations, Andy, and wish you the best in your future endeavors! Profe. Taylor-Arnold
Ryan has worked incredibly hard this year. He continues to push himself even when he struggles and gets frustrated with his results. He comes into class each day focused regardless of the distractions around him, and he maintains positivity. Ryan is a great sport with an excellent sense of humor. Ryan continuously shows hard work, dedication, and optimism.
Vincent shows Ram Pride each day by being on time, present in class, and respectful to his peers, teachers, and environment. His kindness is something I look forward to each day, and he works very hard to learn the content and to perfect it, and approaches everything with curiosity. Vincent follows every guidance and does his very best to produce the best product.
Mary is a leader in my class. She is kind and respectful to all in the class. She is a dilligent student who gives all her all to each assignment. Mary is very thoughtful and considerate and puts others needs over her own. For these reasons, I think Mary deserves to be recognized for her Ram Pride I see her display each day in class. Congrats Mary!
“Determined, persistent, kind, compassionate, contemplative, reflective, caring, present, considerate, dignified, intentional, collaborative, thoughtful, respectful… and on and on.
Over the four years I have known Cindy, she has never once failed to always be all of these, and more, every day, good days and bad. If that’s not exemplary Ram Pride, what is.”
