Today, Feb. 28, administrators held a meeting for all incoming juniors and seniors to discuss the changes of the parking application.
“Juniors need to have their forms in by March 3 – 7” assistant principal Elizabeth Grana said, “and sophomores need to have their forms in by March 10 – 14. Next year seniors will be first come first serve, and then that’s also based on citizenship and attendance, excused and unexcused absences, and excessive tardies.”
Many students have been concerned with the increase of prices from $65 to $100. “Based on other local schools, $100 is a pretty fair price in comparison. It was an administrative as well as a district decision to go ahead and increase parking.” Grana explained.
The administration is happy to answer any further questions despite overall confusion. “Students can find the information online, in the parent newsletter, they can also come to myself as well as Mr. Tarpey to get information.” Grana said.
