The Ladue girls volleyball team defeated McCluer 3-0 in the quarterfinals of the Class 4 District 3 tournament at home Thursday, Oct. 20, 2022. The win advanced the team to the district semifinals against Incarnate Word Academy played on October 22 where Ladue lost 0-3. “It was a good win for our team, nice job getting out of the first round of districts,” Head coach Chris Geisz said. “They [McCluer] jumped on us early and brought some good energy, and we had to match that so we were caught off guard a little bit, but we were able to recover and played like we should have played and we were able to bring it home.”
