The participants play Volleyball with the help of their volunteers who cheer for them. The sport each semester for Special Olympics changes and next semester it will be track and field. "There is a bowling, volleyball, and track and field event throughout the year," Yancy said.

In the Spanish hallway, students made decorations that represent the celebration for the Day of the Dead. Each box was personally made by a student for a celebrity or a loved one that passed away. "[And for] each of their boxes, they needed to have pictures and items that loved one enjoyed," DeLia said.
