Nelson moved back to St. Louis from Long Island, New York in October and can now play Ladue Hockey. “I didn’t want to spend my senior year away from friends and family, especially if hockey wasn’t the right path for me.” Nelson said.

James Palanca (12) gives a thumbs up to indicate that he heard his coach. Palanca is in the same boat as Tripp Jones (12) and Will Yin (11).“[Rowing is] beautiful but it’s [also] a technical sport,” Palanca said.
In Command
Art teacher Patricia Chavez and her family sit atop Machu Picchu. In order to secure a spot on a guided tour, her cousin bought her and her family tickets months in advance. “[My] favorite part was actually getting there, finally seeing the ruins,” Chavez said. “It’s just so beautiful with all the mountains all around you.
