Receptionist Artina Clark-Lloyd works on her computer as a receptionist allowing students in and out of the building. Clark-Lloyd has been at Ladue for 3 years and loves her time here. “The best part that I like the most about being a receptionist is getting to know the students as well as the parents,” Clark-Lloyd said.

Questions: What is your name?

Answer: Artina Clark-Lloyd

Questions: What is your job a Ladue?

Answer: I am the Receptionist.

Questions: What does a typical day look like for you?

Answer: A typical day for me is pretty busy with checking students in and out, making sure everyone knows where they’re going,  answering doors constantly. Additionally, I have to make sure I input information into the system correctly.

Questions: What are some instances during your day that you find strange?

Answer: I see students sometimes come in, and then they come in through the front door again with Starbucks or something in their hand. And when I ask them where they went, they reply by saying they went out the back door. I find that pretty strange.

Questions: What is a problem that you usually deal with?

Answer: Students trying to Doordash food to themselves and putting other doors instead of the front door. That’s something we deal with on a daily basis.
