Miley Cyrus cancelled the concert on April 16 for the Bangerz tour in Saint Louis, disappointing many fans.

Cyrus tweeted from Kansas City that she had to stay in the hospital because of an allergic reaction to antibiotics. Her doctors would not release her, so she could not perform for Saint Louis.

Of the many fans who purchased a ticket, freshman Beth Ayanaw was looking forward to seeing Miley in concert.

“I have been planning for this concert since last year. My friend and I bought our tickets on presale and we planned our outfits and everything beforehand,” Ayanaw said.

At first, Ayanaw did not believe it, but then she saw Cyrus’ tweets about the cancellation, and she was disappointed.

“At first, I had hoped that she would reschedule her concert for another time but then they emailed me my refund information, so then I knew it was official that Miley would not be having a St. Louis show,” Ayanaw said.
