The entire wrestling team competed against both Hazelwood West High School and Ritenour High School. They won both competitions 60-12 and 36-33, respectively. “Senior night was great because I got to stand in the spot that all of my role models did over the years,” senior Sam Loiterstein said. “I loved sharing the mat with my family too. Being able to experience wrestling over the last four years has been an unimaginable privilege— and senior night was the perfect way to acknowledge all of the support that I’ve had getting to this point. Wrestling, unlike football or basketball, doesn’t really get a ton of a crowd at home meets. This time we did and it was fun to end my home meet career in front of a group of people that had some energy and hype.” (Photos by Maya Brianzi)
