Ladue defeated Cape Girardeau Central 31-28 to advance to the state semifinal. Ladue took an early lead after a 55 yard touchdown grab by Zach Bush. Ladue trailed 20-14 at the half but rebounded by scoring 17 unanswered points in the 3rd quarter after a 46 yard field goal by P.J. Hensley and a 79 yard run by quarterback Jordan Jackson. Ladue will play Kearney on Saturday at 1:30 for a chance to play for the state championship.
