Fort Zumwalt North scored the first 14 points of the game in Ladue’s last home game of the season. But Ladue rallied in the fourth quarter, scoring 20 unanswered points to topple Fort Zumwalt North 33-17.
The final blow to North was a short run by quarterback Matthew Hooper, followed by a two-point conversion to wide receiver Duncan Cannon. However, it was wide receiver Ryan Glazer that kept Ladue in the game.
In the second half, Glazer returned a kickoff 70 yards and later scored on a 15 yard pass from Hooper. He later scored another touchdown on a 60 yard punt return. Cannon also scored a touchdown earlier in the game on a pass from Hooper.
Ladue has won seven straight games since their opening loss to Parkway Central and will close their regular season against Jennings on Saturday.
