It seemed like nothing could go wrong for Ladue’s varsity football team Sep. 6 as they utterly destroyed Parkway West by a score of 70-0. After a blowout loss to Parkway Central in their first game of the season, an offensive onslaught was the best way for Ladue to rebound.
Four of the team’s ten touchdowns were scored by senior running back Udell Hyde who piled up 175 yards rushing on six carries. Senior quarterback Matthew Hooper added two more passing touchdowns to senior wide receiver Ryan Glazer and Parkway West’s running back Troy Thomas was held to 64 yards on sixteen carries.
