Alvin Kamara: Kamara has proven himself as a true passing back. Don’t be discouraged because of split time with Mark Ingram, last year they proved that they can share the ball with ease. Plus, with Ingram’s four game suspension to be served at the beginning of the season, look for the Saints to try and transition to Kamara being their number one option at running back.

Don’t draft:

Saquon Barkley: I loved Saquon at Penn State. I really did. However, he hasn’t proved himself in the league yet. Additionally, the Giants have the 25th ranked O-line in the league. I expect Saquon to be injured within the first six weeks of the season because the Giants are going to try to use him as an every down back, which is very harmful to the body, and he will be under constant pressure from the terrible O-line. Not worth a first round pick.

Draft:

Davante Adams: Adams is a touchdown machine. Before Aaron Rodgers broke his collarbone, he was having a breakout season. Look for him to make a full comeback this season and even better.

Don’t draft:

Odell Beckham Jr.: OBJ is one of the most fun players in the league to watch, his one handed catches and explosive plays are insane. However, he is still coming off injury, and to make matters worse, he’s no longer striving for a contract. He just became the highest paid wide receiver in NFL history. If the Giants record isn’t as good as he expects it to be and playoffs are out of the picture, he has nothing to play for. Not to mention Eli Manning shouldn’t even be in the league anymore. I hope I’m wrong about this one.

Draft:

Aaron Rodgers: The greatest quarterback of all time is back. Although all that applies to OBJ also applies to the Packers’ quarterback, Rodgers has much more control of his team and his emotions. He will continue to play to his best even if the Packers are mediocre this year. Look to draft him in the mid fifth round.

Don’t draft:

Tom Brady: I know I know Patriots’ “fans”, you think he’s the GOAT. Well you’re wrong. Although Brady says he’s not tired and isn’t going to retire anytime soon, the Super Bowl loss took a toll on him. During the offseason, he mentioned retirement. He was surprisingly optimistic, saying that he would retire after two more Super Bowls. When fatigue hits him this year, he will realize that his time has come, and AFC is now owned by the Jaguars. The second half of his season will just be his sad farewell tour.
