Girls Volleyball:
“This group of seniors did quite a bit for the program. They were very successful both on and off the court during their time with Ladue Volleyball. Practices and games won’t feel the same without them.”
– Rebekah McCloud
Boys Soccer:
Well this group of seniors will forever be remembered as state champions! The first to do so at Ladue in soccer! They were a fantastic group of boys who came together and made the conscious effort of putting team goals ahead of individual ones. Ironically, by doing this, their individual accomplishments were off the charts as well! It was a blueprint that I hope younger boys look to! I will miss this groups ability to balance competition and fun. They loved to compete but also were good friends on and off the field and made the season extremely fun. My favorite memory will be of the state championship game when all of the seniors played in the game and played great in the victory!”
– Dave Aronberg
Girls Golf:
“This year our team had 6 seniors: Audrey Goldman, Hiro Cockrell, Sydney Proper, Bella Soyfer, Grace Ingram, and Genesis Julian. We will miss their dedication to the team, their fun personalities, and how they positively influenced younger players. One of the best memories from their time on the team was our theme day when we scrambled in teams.”
– Riley Keltner
Cross Country:
“The 2025 class of cross country seniors were the first group of upperclassmen to be part of the combining of boys & girls cross country into one program. They have helped set a foundation for one strong program by continuing the traditions of their respective teams and adding new ones to the combined team.
What you’ll miss about them: I will miss the supportiveness and leadership that this group of seniors demonstrates for each other and the entire team. They want success for each other as much as, or more than they do individually. They make practice a fun place to be every day.
Your favorite memory that involved this graduating group of seniors: My favorite memory of these seniors was at the banquet their junior year. I had no idea the girls had a tradition of writing & presenting speeches about the outgoing seniors. I was shocked when they all got up and delivered really appreciative and thoughtful speeches about the impact the class of seniors had on them. It showed me that this group was very intent on keeping traditions alive.”
– Nick Buckvar
Field Hockey:
“This group of graduating senior field hockey players perfectly embodied what it means to be leaders, both on and off the field. They led by example, putting in the work to be the best players they could be while always making sure everyone was included and felt like they mattered to the team. The wins were fun, but some of the best memories took place off the field.
Some of my favorite memories are:
-The team competitions at camp, especially Whitney dressing up as the Lorax with full orange body paint
-The trip to Louisville, including watching a college game and meeting USA national team members who play for Northwestern (Katie’s future school!)
-Singing show tunes on the school bus to away games (Zoe was particularly well-versed)
-All the awesome senior parents who helped with team dinners and celebrations
We will miss Georgia, Katelyn, Samantha, Whitney, Zoe, Katie, and Miran!”
– Leah Jones
Cheer:
“Ladue Cheer had a great group of 8 seniors this year across both seasons! These athletes have a lot of talent and energy – it has been really wonderful to get to work with them through the last four years. Whether they were with us the entire high school career or just a season, they each left a lasting memory in the Ladue Cheer Family. From 5:00 AM pep rallies in the Fall to the most memorable halftime performances yet at the last Varsity basketball games, each of these athletes brought something special to our program and we wish them the very best on their next adventures!”
– Merri Cross
Girls Soccer:
“This group of senior girls have helped spur the girls team to new heights! As freshmen they came into a struggling program and helped immediately turn it around. Their hard work and dedication have put Ladue Girls Soccer on the map and helped us win our first district title in 8 years! I will miss all of the traditions shared with this group. The donuts after shutouts, the goat chains after games, and all of the fun on out of town tournaments! My favorite memory is pulling up to the state quarterfinal game bumping rap music with the whole team hyped up for the furthest game in the playoffs Ladue had ever gotten to! Hopefully, there will be better memories as this team strives to make it to state this year!”
– Dave Aronberg
Boys Football:
“This group of seniors meant a lot to the team. They helped us establish a culture that can be built upon in future years. The program will miss these seniors and appreciate their contribution and sacrifices made to the Ladue football program.”
– Adam Hamilton
Softball:
“Our 2025 Softball Seniors grew tremendously over the last four years and were leaders and friends to all on and off the field. They faced challenges, setbacks, and tough losses but never let it define them and came back stronger every time. As they move on beyond our field, I have no doubt that they will continue to do great things; they’re more than athletes, they are outstanding people!”
– Katie Solomon
Boys Basketball:
“It has been a gratifying and fun experience coaching all four of our seniors. Most of our seniors have been a part of 70 wins over the past 3 seasons and a 2nd place finish in State in 2023. I am proud of their tremendous leadership, dedication, and the hard work that they displayed to keep our program moving in the right direction to continue the winning legacy of Ladue Basketball on and off the court!”
– Chad Anderson
Girls Basketball:
“Izzy, A’Mirra, Eelise, and Lauren have truly left their mark on the Ladue Girls Basketball Program!! Their energy, resilience, commitment, leadership, and work ethic have been nothing short of inspiring. Day in and day out, they showed up—not just for themselves, but for their teammates, always putting the team first. What I’ll remember most is the bus rides together and the moments away from the court. I also will remember Senior Night—a night that perfectly captured everything they’ve been through together. It was a celebration of their journey, their perseverance, and the bond they’ve built over the years. We’ll miss them deeply, but their legacy will always be a part of this program.”
– Miranda Burroughs
Wrestling:
“The senior class for wrestling this year was one of the hardest working group of kids we have had come through the program. They were a great example for the underclassmen to follow. It is always great as a coach to have your seniors help show the younger kids that hard work pays off. The have left the wrestling program and the underclassmen with a great example to follow.”
– Kevin Clawson
Track:
“What this graduating group of seniors meant to the track & field team: The 2025 class of track & field seniors has taken the program to new heights and raised our standards of dedication and performance. They brought a new level of enthusiasm and passion for the sport that has helped take the team to the top in the state, but also one that is known at the national level as well.
What you’ll miss about them: I will miss the daily interactions and relationships I have with each one of them. I will also miss talking to them and having fun in the downtime before or after practice, warming up at a meet, talking between intervals in workouts, and our out of town trips as a group. That is where the relationships are formed and where I see them really being themselves.
Your favorite memory that involved this graduating group of seniors: I have a favorite memory for each of them individually. It is usually a moment that was a turning point in their journey. For some, it was a low moment of defeat where it took some reflecting to work back to new heights. For others it was a moment of success that helped them see their true potential and a major growth in self confidence.”
– Nick Buckvar
Baseball:
“This group of seniors mean quite a bit to this program. They’ve been through a lot of highs and lows through their time playing Ladue baseball, but I think overall they’ve improved quite a bit. We will miss them and their passion for baseball and competition. I foresee a bright future for all of them.”
– Rob Garrett
Boys Golf:
“Jackson Burrus-Jackson is a 3 year varsity member. In addition, a 2 time state qualifier (with this year yet to be completed). He has put countless time into the sport showing his passion and commitment. Jackson will be missed.
Caden Wheeler-Caden has been in the program all 4 years, a 2 year varsity player.
He has steadily improved his scores reflecting his love for the sport, good luck Caden.
Tyson Clawson-Tyson has been in the program for 3 years after spending 1 year playing baseball. He is another example of time and commitment that is required to play this difficult sport. He has improved his game immensely over the years. Good luck Ty.”
– Todd Basler
Girls Lacrosse:
“Although this graduating class was already sophomores when I arrived at Ladue Lacrosse, these seniors feel like “my” seniors. They set the foundation for our team, bought into changing the culture, and determined our path forward. The success that we have had both on and off the field is a testament to who they are at the core. I have loved watching them dance to “Disturbia” after wins, sharing positive touches, and becoming best friends, bonded through sport. These nine seniors mean everything to me and this program; they are excellent teammates!”
– Carrie Lampe
Boys Tennis:
“Ryan Li and Charles Randall, thank you for being the two seniors who led by example on our Varsity tennis team this season. Ryan, thanks for leading with your hype and enthusiasm when cheering on your teammates on court. Charles, thanks for leading with your strategic involvement behind the scenes in trying to do what’s best for our team’s outcome. Thanks for two great seasons with me as your coach!”
