Recently, I have started learning sign language, which is something I have wanted to learn for a while, but just didn’t have the opportunity to do. It has been a lot harder than I thought it would be, but I’m really enjoying learning something new. I have also had the time to learn new songs on the piano, which I used to play a lot as a child. I think that while staying at home can be really boring, I like that I have more time to relax and focus on myself and my interests. The hardest part about lockdown so far is staying motivated to do my schoolwork. Because I am at home, there are so many more distractions, which makes it much harder to stay focused. If I don’t pay attention, I could end up spending hours on my phone or watching Netflix, so it has been hard to make sure that I am staying productive, especially during classes. Because grades can’t go down, I feel like I have lost motivation to actually turn in my assignments and stay on top of my work, so online school in general poses a pretty big challenge in my daily life.
