[Something new] I did was buy Animal Crossing and play it. I also actually started using my iPad more; I bought Procreate, and I started using it for Drawing class….I did a [few] sketches, because I’m trying to learn how to draw in different styles….I think I can do different art styles at this point, but…drawing on my iPad…has been more consistent….It’s different, because when school was happening, I didn’t really have time or the motivation to use my iPad, but now…you have actual time to do whatever you want, [like] experimenting with different brushes….I like [Procreate.] It was worth the ten dollars, because the other app I was using–which was Sketchbook–the only problem with it is that it would glitch, sometimes. It wasn’t bad, but I needed something more and kind of smoother….I did download multiple drawing [apps,] because they were all different. I’ve used Drawing Desk, and that wasn’t that good. Sketchbook was pretty nice, but Procreate, really, is the superior thing to use….[Making art] is not just [with] my iPad. Yesterday, I went back to watercoloring….Having everything here kind of lets me do what I feel like doing, especially with the Drawing Two assignments. It’s kind of pushing me to [draw,] because I’m not super motivated all the time….I’ll just be lazy and just not do it, but…having…a variety helps me. I literally just play with the brushes, sometimes, just to see what I would use….I’m not really that far with [digital art,] like I want to create faces and stuff, and I know that’s very complicated. I try to do that, and it’s just as hard as [doing] it on paper, so it’s just a matter of having it right there versus…digitally.
