Shelei Pan
I have nominated Shelei Pan for the Ram Pride Award because on top of being an excellent student, she personifies a student who is deeply immersed in the Ladue community. From her work with Ari’s Light and the World Pediatric Project, she helped bring children from the Ronald McDonald House to LHWHS to shadow for a day with our Spanish Honor Society. She also volunteers at the St. Louis Children’s Hospital. In addition, Shelei is also involved in several clubs like Science Olympiad and holds leadership roles as president of the Club Neuro, the secretary of the Spanish Honor Society, the captain of the varsity tennis team and a member of the Student Leadership Panel. Finally, she is the president of the National Honor Society, through which I have seen her at every teacher conference night helping parents find their way around the school. Shelei is a person of great integrity who is committed to her academics and to serving both the Ladue and wider St. Louis community. I am therefore proud to nominate her for Ram Pride!
