“I choose to be a math teacher because I’ve always wanted to work with kids, especially at the high school level. I think that they are easier to relate to than a small child for me. I really loved it when I was in school myself. I think it’s really cool to see all of the connections and patterns in the relationships that are made. I also know that math, not everyone loves. If I can even make one person or a few kids enjoy this subject like I do, I think that’s cool. Something that not all kids like, maybe I can convert one human into being a math person.”
