I am excited to honor K’yani White. It took a matter of seconds for K’yani to impress me with her character, drive and motivation. K’yani is committed to her future, seeking opportunities, both educational and career, that make her a better, stronger individual, but also that help society. K’yani exhibits confidence and authenticity, but tempered kindness to others- she is not afraid to call out injustice or ridiculousness but does so with humor and compassion. These traits, among many others, make her a strong voice and leader.
