COVID-19 has taken away many things that I was looking forward to this year, like a spring break trip with my friends, DECA State competition and a chance to compete at Internationals, and Prom, but what has really left me devastated is my senior year being cut short. I have absolutely loved being a student at Ladue and have made so many memories and friends that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Although I acknowledge that this school year has had to end early for our well-being, I would’ve given anything for my high school career to have concluded on a more positive note. Even though this is not the ending any of us had hoped for, the school district and staff have gone out of their way to make the best of our situation and ensure that we feel appreciated.
