Jayla Allen

It is a privilege to leave a classroom inspired by a student, and I often feel that way after leaving Jayla’s presence. Watching her curiosity unfold into actionable work has been one of the highlights of my teaching career. She is a fierce presence in our classroom community, where she respectfully challenges others as much as she challenges herself. Her kindness and enthusiasm for learning will take her far, and I can’t wait to see what this young woman does.
