“School this year has been a lot better than last year. It feels good to be back in a semi-normal school setting rather than just being virtual. Academics are a little harder for last year but I’m glad we’re back in curriculums not modified for COVID…This year, I’m participating in speech and debate, and some clubs like SAGE and UNICEF. All the clubs I’m part of have in person meetings, which is great. They’re going well, lots of new exciting stuff is happening this year, so I’m happy to be a participant in all of it. So far, the funniest memory that I remember is when Officer Ramirez put up the sign “cheer or you’re going to jail” at the Lindbergh football game. Having football games in person again is already really fun but seeing staff members show their school spirit at these types of events is always great to see.”
