The hardest moment of lockdown for me so far was finally getting the news that my spring rowing season had been officially canceled. My team trains for the spring regattas from November to March, so it was very disappointing to have all that work go to waste. However, we have team zooms and workout challenges to keep us motivated for next season, and the happiest moment I’ve experienced during quarantine was when I saw a few of my teammates again when we biked together. Even though we had to keep our distance, connecting with them in person again and training like usual was a refreshing change. Other than that, with all of the extra time I have, I tried a new thing during quarantine when I built a shelf! I custom built a new wooden shelf to hold my nail polish, and it actually turned out a lot better than I expected.
