“When I first moved from Virginia to St. Louis in 2008 the first thing I did when I got familiar with was learn how to skate and St. Louis was different from Virginia because this is a hockey town with a big fan base. They don’t have a pro hockey team or baseball team. Also when I moved here I realized most of the high schools in the area have club teams which I wanted to be a part of when I got older which I am doing as we speak and I love. I’m glad that the school has a club team because it is kind of what got me to start playing in the first place because being able to play for your high school in front of all of your friends is awesome and I will never regret playing hockey.”
