Jordan Hunt
“Anyone who wants to improve [at soccer] needs to practice, whether it’s just 20 minutes on the ball every day or a few hour long practices a week. It is also helpful to talk to your coaches and ask them what they think could be improved. [If I had to give advice to my younger self as an athlete], I would tell myself to not be embarrassed to ask for help. I always found that if I was struggling with something, I would avoid practicing it with my team or coaches. If I had asked for help, I think it would’ve saved me a lot of time and probably would’ve made me a better player.”
