Aidan Dougan

I selected Aidan because he is an exemplar of what it is to be human- compassionate to others in pain or need, honest about his own truth and knows that everyone deserves joy but knows suffering, straightforward and critical but kind when he finds error or injustice, hard working when the work demands it but casual and laid back when it doesn’t, able to find humor in everyday even when humor is hard to find. Our school community, our world and our lives are better when Aidan is in them.
