“My saddest moment was probably the week of September 11th. I lost two family members- not in September 11th, but they died that week. And I used to work for the state, and I was very scared to go to work. It was a sad week- like I couldn’t get away from it. I couldn’t really sleep, couldn’t eat anything, and I actually found out I was pregnant with my daughter. It was just a very traumatic week: that Monday I found out I was pregnant with my daughter, Tuesday was September 11th, Wednesday I found out my cousin was dying, Thursday my grandmother died, and my cousin who I found out was dying died that Friday- so every day of that week was horrifying.”
