“Try to have fun once in a while. Don’t focus everything on school, try to also have a great social life. Recently, I started rowing, and I have met over forty girls on my team. When we went to Chicago, raced and got first, we were at the racecourse all day. We went out and raced, and then came in and just celebrated. It was the first time I won, so I felt very accomplished. Getting the medals with my team was the icing on the cake. It’s a very caring environment, I mean there’s no girl that’s mean. They’re all very nice and just there for you. I see myself continuing to grow with this team throughout high school.”
