Students from multiple Eastern Missouri schools look to see if they advanced to the semifinals at LNI. After counting the ballots and figuring out who moves on, they announce the students in the cafeteria, which is the main area the schools stay in. “Weve had over 30 schools pull up to this tournament, so its definitely kind of hectic, but were all a community, and I feel everyones great,” Eric Fan (11) said.

Student artwork is displayed in the Spirtas Gallery as a part of the new exhibition, “Cosmic Creations: Artists Explore the Cosmos.” During the big renovation in 2018, Raedeke requested for a student gallery to be built in a place that is centrally located within the school. “It thought it would be a great opportunity for students to showcase their work so that everybody could see it,” Raedeke said. “It wasnt just tucked away in some corner [that] nobody goes in.”
